You’re right — the sound effects and motion are really nicely done, but the problems are way too easy. The only one that I hesitated over was the water one. For a much harder variation on the concept (no sound, but nice music) try this: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/ I didn’t get very far in this one; I should let my lego-minded kid give it a go.
I always preferred the laser light puzzles anyway; I’ve seen several versions of those (some of them linked from this blog).
